The Implication of the righteousness of God
• The genesis principle
◦ God gives ability before he gives the command
◦ The ability for man to reproduce after his kind was given before the command to be fruitful an multiply
• Death is the removal of God’s presence
◦ God’s judgement is the withdrawal of His presence/covering
‣ Active removal - Adam from Eden, Goshen (Ten plagues)
‣ Passive removal - By deciding to leave - Lot leaving Abraham
• God’s intent was always for man to be in His image
◦ But man chose independence from God - and lost his presence - a state of death
• The intent of the righteousness of God is to bring man back to His original plan
◦ Man - in the image and likeness of God - Jesus Christ
‣ We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus - 2Corinthians 5:21
• The first shall be as the last and the last shall be as the first - Matthew 19:30
