Day 3

  • Psalm 90
  • Evidence- the works of the man crowned with glory
    1. Obedience
    • Faith without works is dead, is not depend on the works man validates but the work of God is the exercising obedience in His word and His will until His intended results is revealed.
    • In the garden, Jesus tarried in prayer until the Father’s intended results were revealed
    • Acts 1:4-8- don’t leave Jerusalem until the Holy Ghost.
    • A lot of what we are called to do in the kingdom of God is to exercise obedience to His word and His will.
    • Romans 2:7-To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.
    • To those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, He will give eternal life.
    • The other part of the evidence of the man crowned with glory is His ability to exercise dominion
    • Having dominion is a call to Stewardship or to service
    • Serve the kingdom of God on earth
    • Have power over the kingdom of darkness

Prayer focus: exercising obedience in His word and His will until His intended results are revealed.

  1. Romans 6:9-For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, He cannot die again; death no longer has dominion over Him.
    • No dead works will have dominion over our lives, our loved ones, and our nation.
    • Dead works are things done outside of faith in Christ- we declare life in our worship, in our service, and in our prayers
  2. Psalm 107: 14-16
  3. Psalm 72:8
    • Heavenly Father, by the dominion given to us in Christ, let it extend from sea to sea and to the ends of the earth, that the work of ministry will demonstrate the power of the word of Christ in our preaching, the sick healed, the blind see, the multitude believe and receive Christ.
    • Missionaries must be  born out of the shepherd’s house
  4. Hebrews 12:1-2: Lord Jesus, empower us with endurance, in service, character, attitude, and faithfulness in the truth.
  5. Lord Jesus, grant me a persevering spirit in serving in the kingdom of God
  6. Lord Jesus, let your divine nature abide richly in me, even to the point of death, that Christ will be exalted in my life.
